1. Introduction

Welcome to Mama's Table. By placing an order with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before placing an order.

2. Orders & Lead Time

Mama's Table requires a minimum of 48 hours' notice for all orders. This lead time begins from the time we confirm your order. Orders are subject to availability — we will confirm your order via WhatsApp or email within 24 hours of receiving it.

All orders are made fresh to order. Once an order has been confirmed and ingredients have been purchased or prepared specifically for your order, we are unable to offer cancellations or refunds.

3. Pricing & Payment

All prices are listed on the website and are correct at the time of publishing. Prices may change from time to time. Final pricing will be confirmed in your order confirmation.

Payment is required in full at the time of order confirmation. We accept payment via bank transfer or cash on collection. Full payment must be received before production begins.

4. Collection

All orders are collection only from our kitchen in Caerphilly. Collection details will be provided at the time of order confirmation. Please ensure you collect your order on the agreed date — we cannot hold completed orders indefinitely.

If you are unable to collect your order, please contact us as soon as possible to arrange an alternative collection time.

5. Custom Orders

For bespoke or custom cake orders, we require a consultation prior to confirmation. This allows us to understand your requirements fully and provide an accurate quote. Custom orders require a non-refundable deposit of 50% at the time of confirmation.

Design elements, colours, flavours, and sizes are agreed upon at the time of order confirmation. We make every effort to match your requirements but cannot guarantee an exact replica of inspiration images.

6. Dietary Requirements & Allergens

As a food business, Mama's Table handles all 14 major allergens. While we take every precaution, we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment.

Please inform us of any allergies or dietary requirements at the time of ordering. It is your responsibility to ensure the products you order are suitable for your dietary needs.

7. Food Hygiene & Safety

Mama's Table is a registered food business with Caerphilly County Borough Council and holds a 5/5 food hygiene rating. All products are prepared in a domestic kitchen that may also handle common allergens.

Once collected, food must be stored appropriately and consumed within the recommended timeframes. Mama's Table cannot accept liability for food that has been improperly stored after collection.

8. Photographs & Images

Images of products on this website are representative of our style and quality. Products may vary slightly from photographs due to the handmade nature of our baking. We reserve the right to use photographs of orders placed with us for promotional purposes unless you explicitly request otherwise.

9. Cancellations & Refunds

Due to the perishable and bespoke nature of our products:

• Orders cancelled more than 7 days before the collection date: full refund, minus any non-refundable deposit.
• Orders cancelled within 7 days of the collection date: no refund (ingredients and production costs incurred).
• Orders cancelled within 48 hours of the collection date: no refund.

If we are unable to fulfil an order due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be issued.

10. Liability

Mama's Table's liability is limited to the value of the products purchased. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from the purchase or use of our products.

This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, photographs, logos, and designs, is the property of Mama's Table and may not be reproduced without prior written consent.

12. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
